What is the cheapest flight from Northern Italy to London this weekend (10 points for best price!)?
I need the cheapest possible single ticket between these destinations, on these dates:
from Northern Italy (Vicenza, Venice, Verona or Trento are best, Milan or Bologna would do)
to London (ideally Stansted)
on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd of January.
10 points for the best genuine price found!
What about other London airports, or even somewhere like Birmingham or Bristol? might they be cheaper?
You have very little choice, I’m afraid, and because of the short notice & the end of the holiday, what few flights are available are extortionate!
There are no direct flights from Venice-Treviso until Mon. the 4th, Verona (Brescia) until Tues. the 5th, or Milan (Bergamo) until Mon. the 4th. The only incoming flight to London Stansted, to suit your dates, is from Bologna, on Sun. the 3rd Jan., with Ryanair. With all taxes, check-in etc the cost is £215.63p, not including hold luggage.
The nearest alternative, and slightly cheaper, is a flight from Milan Malpensa with Easyjet, on Sun. the 3rd Jan., to London Gatwick. This is priced at £191.99p inclusive of taxes etc, or £202.99p with hold luggage.
Easyjet also have a flight on Sat. the 2nd from Venice (Marco Polo) to Gatwick for £461.99p!!!! I know, you said the cheapest.
Addition – BA has one seat left on flight BA0581 from Milan Malpensa to Heathrow, on Sun. the 3rd Jan. leaving Milan at 1945hrs. The cost is £235.26p.
David G – May I respectfully suggest you complete the search on your website, which clearly shows there are NO flights from Venice-Treviso (TSF) to Stansted until Mon. 4th Jan. and the starting price for that is £189.99p
