How to clean a (bezel set) moissanite ring?
I have a bezel set moissanite ring and nearby the rim of the bezel the stone has collected dirt, especially from liquid hand soap. How to get it clean? I have tried: sonic cleanser, steam cleaning, ammonia, alcohol, jewelry cloths, jewelry cleaning fluid, but at the rims I could only clean it a bit by scratcing with a needle. Who knows a better way?
Before going out and spending money on special tools, try a toothbrush. I clean all of my wife’s rings with a toothbrush and dish detergent. They always come out spotless and the stones sparkle like the very first day. So give the toothbrush a try first.
